Proactive Parenting: Autism Spectrum

As parents we are the best advocates, teachers, and supporters for our high functioning, Asperger's, or PDD-NOS children. This blog is dedicated to my journey with my son through early intervention, developmental delays, special services, and ways we learned to teach him navigate the world.

Article worth the read.

Click here for an interesting article from Cal Tech on Autism. They think there might be a connection between a viral infection in the mother during pregnancy and autism. Still researching, but interesting theory. I like the tone of the article and the approach about defining what autism is.

About Me

My photo
Jen
I am a mother of three children, who are my life! I enjoy dancing, choreography, video editing, reading, and writing. I love taking pictures of my kids and traveling as a family. But, to know me is to know my kids. I love them so much and enjoy watching them grow and develop.
